Jason is a serial entrepreneur and author. His previous ventures include Tech Marionette, a tool for modelling the IT world. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science from Cambridge University Jason worked for 25 years in financial services across IT, in support, development, architecture and infrastructure. Regularly reporting to C-level executives he succeeded in implementing large-scale cultural change on multiple occasions, resulting in saving millions of dollars in spend and improving delivery of IT services to the business. Turning to entrepreneurship he has built and deployed software tools to enable change at large financial services firms, combining cutting edge technology with practical experience and a pragmatic approach to change.
Alex Munn

Alex Munn is a life long developer, with a passion for technology, entering his first line of code on a ZX Spectrum (48k) at 6 years old, if only to prove to his older brother he could keep up. He started his career at Sun Microsystems, in a special web projects team, before moving into finance in 2007 on the eve of the global financial crisis. Whilst this was certainly a trial by fire, it gave Alex a strong appreciation of the value of technology in managing risk. Alex has held technology and leadership positions across numerous Investment Banks, before moving into the asset management space in 2018, joining Man Group as Head of Core Trading Technology. During his tenure at Man group Alex lead multiple technology teams across trading systems, data science, quant technology, machine learning and execution. Alex founded Refined Perception with Jason in June 2024
